Privacy Policy

A Brilliant Mind is a personal, in-person dyslexia tutoring practice owned and operated by Michelle Mohlman and serving families in Utah County, Utah. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and how you can contact us with questions or requests. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to A Brilliant Mind. “You” refers to the person using this website.

What we collect

We only collect information you give us directly through the contact form. The form collects:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Your child’s age or grade
• Your preferred contact method (email, phone, or either)
• The message you write to us

We do not collect information you have not entered yourself. We do not use marketing cookies, third-party tracking pixels, advertising tags, or social-media trackers on this site.

How we use it

We use the information you submit only to respond to your inquiry about tutoring services. Specifically, we use your name, email, and phone to contact you; we use your child’s age or grade and your message to prepare for our conversation and to decide whether Michelle is the right fit for your child.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for marketing, advertising, or any other purpose.

How your submission is delivered

When you submit the contact form, the information is sent through Resend (our transactional email provider) to Michelle’s email inbox. Resend processes the message solely to deliver it; it does not use your information for any other purpose. You can review Resend’s privacy practices at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

You will also receive a plain-text confirmation email from us letting you know we received your message. That confirmation comes from the same Resend delivery path.

Third parties that process information on our behalf

• Cloudflare hosts this website and provides security services (DNS, TLS, caching, and bot protection via Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form). Cloudflare may process limited request metadata (IP address, user agent) for security and abuse prevention. Turnstile sets a functional cookie required for the challenge to work; it does not track you across sites. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics gives us aggregate, cookie-free traffic statistics (page views, referrers, devices). It does not set cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personal data.
• Resend delivers email, as described above.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook) Pixel, or any advertising-network trackers on this site.

Retention

Your contact-form submission is retained in Michelle’s email inbox for as long as it is useful to the inquiry — typically the life of the conversation, plus any ongoing tutoring relationship. We do not store submissions in a separate database.

Your rights

You can email us at hello@abrilliantmind.net to:

• Request a copy of the information we have from your contact-form submission
• Request deletion of your submission from our inbox
• Correct any information in a submission
• Ask any other privacy-related question

We will respond to reasonable requests within a reasonable time — in practice, within a few business days.

Children’s information

This website is directed at parents and guardians, not children. The “child’s age or grade” field on the contact form is filled in by the parent, on behalf of the child, for the purpose of discussing tutoring. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, note the change in response to ongoing inquiries.
